epiceast
Parents are reporting sleet mixed in with rain and the occasional flake in the Bonney Lake. Looking at the temps and wind direction, this looks to be more downsloping than anything else.Yeah seeing that areas south of Olympia are still snow and sleet just east of Aberdeen makes me think this the case. Also the dryslot appearing on the radar southeast of Olympia further confirms this. Sucks for Jim, but north of a line from Renton/Issaquah is where we should see snow for a much longer period if this being driven by downsloping rather than southerly push of marine air. jcmcgaffey
Latest update to the Winter Storm Warning mentions a line from North Bend to Carnation (sidenote: we are rarely ever specifically mentioned, kind of cool) and up to Snohomish County should see snow into the night. 3-9 inches expected. Woooo.Ya have already hit my max snowfall called out in the winter weather advisory and it is still dumping. If it can hold out past this band of showers the next 1-2 hrs then the precip should be more sparse and can come out of this decently until the next batch of precip later.
