Looks like just to the south of me is getting a good soaking currently. As it is I am still at .68” on the day so far.

Finally some good soaking rainfall here in tacoma. No t-storms or anything today that was kind of a let down. Overall good day now that some rain is finally falling.

I need a good filter. My grass is green due to watering but everything is dead around it. What gives? Tim’s pics are so vibrant and green.

I know. Looks like the ones that girls use on dating sites. One second they are Christie Brinkley, the next they are an old Christie Brinkley, lol. Oh wait, thats pretty good too.

Not sure if you’re the “dome” or not but it seems you spew on Friday’s and Saturday’s. Are you a weekend warrior or just a day drinker on days that end in “y” ?

Hey..its 10 am somewhere. Kind of reminds me of when we toured Fox12 studios drunk and one of us wore his nicest shirt for Marky Mark. Hint, it wasnt me.

Literally only got 0.06” of rain. Unless we get something on the back end of the month this may be the only rainfall for June. Barely even enough rain to soak into the ground lol. Overall things have been pretty dry here and not good considering the dry season is really about to kick in.

Rain fall reports look quite lackluster overall for western WA.

A forum for the end of the world.

But I’m guessing there are two posters who are now “good to go” for several months of Phoenix-lite.

For the next few weeks my area is golden...or should I say lush green!

yeah lackluster is a good way to put it. Suns already out here and can barely even tell it rained already. Not a good sign entering the dry season with 0.52” of rain here in May and 0.06” so far for June.

Yeah well that’s probably what we’re going to get for the next 12 weeks or so. Definitely disappointed we couldn’t manage more than 0.06” out of this trough. Hopefully we get something in the way of rainfall this summer. The heat coming next week is going to dry out everything that fell today basically. SW interior and OR seemed to get some decent rain today but overall looking dry at the start of summer 19.

I hope that entails a little bit of monsoon action on the side.

Sounds unbearably miserable in that case.

In Phoenix, the "wet" makes the miserable weather less miserable. :P

3 day storm total is sitting at 0.08” here.

You are doing better than me by 0.02” lol. Some select locations did better the last 3 days but in general wasn’t too impressive.

Looks like we picked up .30 yesterday and .50 today out here.

Obviously still way below normal for the last couple months and for the year... but everything is lush green and thoroughly watered now.   August will probably be really wet.   I am not fan of really hot weather since it accelerates the drying up of vegetation.   75-82 seems like a sweet spot.

seems like some of the foothill locations, up near mossman and in the SW interior did alright the past couple days. Even in those locations still way behind for 2019. You are definitely right about the 75-82 sweet spot that is perfect summer weather in WA!

Shawniganlake is right it’s been drier than normal all across the board. The last 18 months have been.
