Omegaraptor
Between the fact that we’re in the deepest solar minimum since the Dalton, warm neutral ENSO, and the favorable blocking pattern in the high latitudes I would be really surprised if this winter was a dud. I think we’re going to see at least something.

TacomaWaWx
We had something like 35” here last winter but that isn’t really far removed from an average seasonal total, it just happened to all fall at once. I would not be surprised if this winter was snowier here but I’m not expecting it to be either. Wow you guys must average something like 25-30 inches a year then? Kayla
What a roller coaster. I haven’t seen the run yet, but I’m guessing it delays the onset of the cold by a few days compared to what was originally shown. Which may not be the best sign, but also seems like pretty common behavior for the models when there’s a big pattern change. Yeah the brunt of the cold doesn't hit until Sunday now which the models seem to be agreeing on now. Lots of cold offshore flow for you guys and plenty of 30's. Gives me 1954 (PNW) and 1950 vibes here. 1 Quote Cold Season 2023/24: Total snowfall: 26" Highest daily snowfall: 5" Deepest snow depth: 12" Coldest daily high: -20ºF Coldest daily low: -42ºF Number of subzero days: 5 Personal Weather Station on Wunderground: https://www.wunderground.com/personal-weather-station/dashboard?ID=KMTBOZEM152#history
