Phil Posted January 13, 2020 Report Share Posted January 13, 2020 One concern I have on the NAM 12km is that is has a precip min in an area that is currently getting dumped on as shown on radar. It may be too far south with the precip. The 3km is doing a better job at capturing the convergence zone where it is currently, and shows another one developing later tonight but quickly dissipating after leaving Seattle.The 3km NAM is far superior to the 12km version so that’s not surprising at all to me.
