my God, this forum has devolved into the worst of the worst. It's always emotional and reactionary in here, but it seems that the rational and seasoned members have pulled back to make way for the kids.
I'm going to step back for the day too. It's just too much uninformed nonsense.
I am excited for a lot of you guys, because it seems like this is your first time tracking a PNW winter storm. I remember my first time.
And that was with El Niño doing its best to keep that heat out of the lower-48.
This summer there’s nothing to stop things from going the way of the 1930s. I don’t see a way out.
The climate in Aruba has been way more tolerable than I expected. Despite the fact that the heat index reaches 105 here everyday, the constant 20+ mph breeze from the trade winds cancels it out and makes it feel pretty nice. The entire time I’ve been here the sustained winds have been 20-25mph with gusts to 35-40mph. It’s almost like a constant windstorm here.
