Some snaps of Saddle in all of its gloomy glory. Cloud deck was around 2,500ft or so. Temps were in the low to mid 40s and winds were relatively calm.

Looks like the GFS had 45" here with the 10:1 ratio, 29" on the Kuchera. GEM was a lame 18" and 7" respectively.

This pattern is one where I would be looking Kuchera rather than 10:1. It's just too marginal for anything else. 29" is still great.

00z Euro looks snowy for @MossMan honestly I can see him getting a good dumping. 

Looks like EPSL could score a lucky 1-2 inches.

Seems likely that large portions of the western WA lowlands will see flakes fly Monday into Tuesday. That’s pretty exciting. Somebody up in convergence zone land will probably get lucky and score a quick inch.

Great run for mossman, at this point I'd say he will be the winner. Had a little dot of light blue over the west salem hills, maybe that could trend better to all of salem ending up with an inch! 1st image goes to hour 66, 2nd image goes to hour 156. I'm in the 16" color!! Hopefully the rest of the run is great.

@westcoastexpat - an old EC friend from my Shaw days once told me that there were apparently some federal laws on the books about misrepresenting professional charts that could endanger the lives of others and that some unlucky bastard in Alberta had been charged over sharing misread map in the heart of hail season. Just say the word and with the backing of the professional community, we can ban these kinds of maps from being shared by the uneducated.

Looks a lot like last Feb-Mar where most of western Oregon did well for snow. Eugene/Springfield was the only place that got the shaft in terms of snowfall relative to the rest of the PNW since Dec 2021. We’ve had more ice accumulation than snow since late Dec 2021.

The NAM is better for King County Monday evening than the 0z.  Looks like the area between North Seattle and Tacoma is in the possible range according to a blend of the models.

ICON is further south and wetter than the 0z.  Have to post the water equivalent map, because it shows none of it being snow in spite of -2 to -3 925mb temps and surface temps low 30s.

Here in OC I've had no more than 2" of snow at a time since 2017.  Further north into Portland, sure, but the warm nose has been rearing it's ugly head for some time now.

The models insist there will be a c-zone in south King County with this.

Yup, has been painful watching north of the Clackamas County line get 6"+ while it's 34 and not sticking here.  We did very well in 2008 and 2014 though, just the way things go sometimes.  In Feb 2019 we got about 2", but it stuck around for I think 5 days?  So that felt pretty significant even though it wasn't that deep.

Cottage Grove, Springfield, Sweet Home, Stayton, Canby, Oregon City. That stretch tends be be quite bad because of the warm nose while areas west of I-5 can do much better in some setups.

In onshore flow events we can occasionally do better. But it’s mostly dependent on precip rates this time of year.

Major dumpage (of the liquid kind) currently! I can hear my gutters and downspouts working overtime as I lay in bed. 
Wind chimes are also singing. Seems very November like at the moment…At least old school November when stormy weather actually happened.

That Thursday system looking like an absolute BEAST. GFS showing about 12" in 24 hours here with the Kuchera, obviously ratios will be quite a bit below 10:1. This looks like a classic early spring snow dump for these parts.

I've been watching that but none of the other models are showing this.
