March 2024 Weather in the PNW

Recommended Posts

That March sun is ruthless! Sure wish we could go below freezing soon.
Currently 42 degrees.
Oh and here is my unmolested part of the yard, unless you are a wild animal you are not allowed!  (Bottom pic)

This looks like the shower activity that would of hit tonight. I think it just rolled in a bit early

ECMWF showed this convective stuff this afternoon as well.

Already starting to snow, 26 currently, peaked at 29 at 11:20 am, the sun only did a tiny bit damage to our snow. Hoping to be snowed in by tommorow morning, this current unexpected snow shower should be a sign of good things to come!

Coldest temp this winter: -7 Jan 13th

Snow depth at Mount Bachelor (last updated March 27th) 107"

Snow depth at my home (updated March 27th): none

23-24 seasonal snowfall at home (updated March 27th): 84"

Forecast calls for 1-4, how much are you expecting?

7-16" at this point, not really enough to trap us here, but still a lot! Just picked up .75", which was supposed to be just a couple flakes. 1-4" forecast is going to be wrong, I guarantee it.

Wasn’t that yesterday also for you? Sucks cause that’s so close to a sub freezing high

It’s not often that your relatives in Minnesota are jealous of 4” of snow…
This is from my FB post of the snow this morning and a reply from one of my relatives!
