18z GFS ensembles were improved. I haven’t given up on January. Yet.

No. The Euro had the low zooming way inland over the Cascades. It's still going to skirt the coast. The only change here is that the low is weaker, which is the reason for the lower winds on the 00z NAM. NAM and several other models have had the track dialed in quite consistently for a couple days now.
