VancouverIslandSouth
Ended up with around 2" of snow and a 35F high today, not bad for Feb 27. Most non-paved surfaces around here still have a solid covering of snow. There was some pretty impressive convective snow earlier today, unfortunately I missed most of it in our near windowless office. I did manage to snap some shots just as it was starting on the walk into work. Walking back it was crazy how much of a difference a couple miles made; there was almost nothing left downtown but not much melted just to the north in parts of Saanich. http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p286/jemeric/IMG_4163_zpsrlcrpft5.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p286/jemeric/IMG_4164_zpsxprmkta2.jpg

Jesse
Motherf*****. I'm happy for them. Especially considering we really won out with the coveted heavy snowfall followed by days of cold sunshine combo. But they have seen more snow falling and sticking at this point, even if it didn't stick around as long. There is fun in multiple small to moderate sticking snow events too, even if they are shortlived.
