The NWS always appreciates observations, especially detailed observations that everyone on here is capable of giving. That can be done thru Twitter, as they often set up a feed for that, or the mPing app. That can include final snowfall amounts, when the snow starts/stops, precip type, dew point, etc
This helps them with short term forecasts as well as future forecasts as they can learn from them. A few years ago they had a freezing rain advisory for Leavenworth, but I notified
Was 78 in Medford yesterday. 90 in Redding. Just a few short hours' drive south of Jesse's place, where it was 59.

The west/PNW is the only region that’s seen any kind of persistent/notable troughing this year. In a post-niño environment that is a massive win, could have easily gone the 2016 route had things played out a little differently.
It will be interesting to see if we can keep the warm weather away until June 1. If that happens we have a good shot at only our second below normal May (below the old normal). since 2012.
