It's almost always breezy over here, just the nature of the area.  In these instances with a decent low riding the NW WA coast, we will probably have sustained 30-35 with 50-55 gusts, which is inline with the wind advisory issued.  If it were to move 200 miles south then we would be in business.  Seems like it gets windier over here when the low is closer, which makes us different the willamette valley.

My flight got cancelled to PDX and now I'll be missing this storm. Hoping we see another later on

This is the lead for the NWS Seattle office. Seems to be taking todays error kinda hard.

Just started dumping at our place in twisp. Looks like mostly snow. Temp is 29. Got up to 33 earlier for first above freezing day in quite a while. Heading up first thing in the morning…hope there’s not much ice waiting for me

Oof moment, I know how it feels. With how incredibly complex our area is for weather, I hope he doesn't beat himself hard for any mistakes. It just comes with the territory, gotta remind yourself that you're human after all.

Seems like also a culmination of events last few weeks as well. Definitely feel for them.

Weird.  Dec 1995 was a total bust where I was living in Woodinville.  At that time I was really disappointed.  At that time I was still pretty well fueled form the January 1993 storm though.  That one was insane.
