Looking at webcams, the northern coast range is already snow covered. It is snowing pretty hard under a shower at 26 and Sylvan pass right now. 

 

Seems like showers are finally starting to get through.

Looking at the radar and satellite, the low is just about to move onshore south of the Olympics. Once that happens, and assuming it continues that course, the shadow will quickly diminish and we can get in on the abundant showers coming onshore. At that point we won't have to rely on the CZ and instead it will become a bonus round once it finally drops south.

At least it's in the mid 30s now. Should start as snow here.

Looks like close to 3” fell overnight. That’s already at the high end of what any model showed here. Plenty more to come it appears. Scappoose switched to snow around 3:30am. I thought that wouldn’t be the case under much later eithe.

No snow anywhere in central King County... even Tiger Mountain along Hwy 18 at 1,300 feet is still bare.

 

 

 

HRRR shows the band up near Everett now will quickly rotate through all of King County by early afternoon.   It does not look like it will be become stationary though like it was all night up north.
