If that ECMWF verifies pretty much everyone will get snow.  Details on snow maps at this point are no better than a guess.

I’ve never seen 500mb pattern that good provide so little snow for central sound. The low pressure teleports from south Vancouver island to way out in the ocean.

Full on arctic blast, 850s down to -19c just east of the cascades. -11c over PDX

Not as cold as GEFS but still a massive improvement.

This is like a dream.  The same drastic improvement seen on the GEFS tonight is present on the EPS as well.

Down to 27 here. Now we have high expectations for next week.

Starting to feel more optimistic about next week now that the EPS has trended colder along with the GEFS.

EPS mean shows lows in the low 20s for both SEA and PDX.  Very impressive for that time range so late in the season.

Went to dinner in downtown Portland earlier this evening and it was cloudy, came out an hour or so later to crystal clear skies. Fell to 30 here by midnight, 32 for PDX. Should be well into the 20s by morning.

Took a drive past Clark County Rifles and up Larch late this afternoon as well. Caught a great sunset up there.
