There's still some opportunity to get something with the deformation band tomorrow night into Tuesday morning. Also the Columbia River Basin looks to get some nice accumulations which is always helpful in strengthening the cold pool for events later down the road.

I don't think 1-2 inches of snow tonight with highs in the upper 30's this week in that area will help you very much.

How much of this falls after hour 6 though? That is 10 PM, so anything before that would have already had to have fallen.

I really fear that this upcoming cold wave will be Puget Sound snow with borderline situations like this.

 

Or no one in the lowlands actually gets anything which is really the most common outcome when you see snow in the models.

PDX has done a lot better than plenty of places down the valley recently.

Only about an inch was shown between 4PM-10PM. Most of that is new accumulation.
