Not too bad for the bachelor area. Hopefully we can get atleast a 20+ inch depth by opening day. I remember one year it opened on 18", that was pretty awful.

 

Current snow depth 8", GFS says 1½ feet from now to opening day. Even if there isn't enough snow by then, atleast it'll be cold enough for the snow guns. Can't wait till they open, so I can finally start working.

We need to be properly coupled to an Arctic airmass to have something meaningful here to where it snows with a sub-freezing high. It still hasn't happened since I've joined the forum in Oct 2017 and we haven't truly been smacked by an Arctic airmass since Dec 2013. And I wasn't here then as I was visiting family in Texas. Last time for me was late Dec 2009 or if that doesn't count then Dec 2008.

I heard a rumble but thought it was military aircraft that have been quite active lately. Didn’t feel anything though. Lots of people on FB commenting they felt it. Almost looks like the epicenter was under Lake Goodwin!
