I did a bunch of extreme back country riding 10 years ago and actually am in several films climbing avalanche chutes. My snowmobile had 400hp lol. Also would just go out and cruise and enjoy. It's actually a bunch or exercise and you have to be an athlete to go ride hard all day 400hp on a sled lol. They generally weigh only 400-500lbs. I bet it could do 0-60 in under 4 seconds even on the snow. And yes, riding aggressively takes some physical strength. I was completely wiped out after a couple of days of riding for 60+ miles. It isn't required to ride in avalanche terrain to have a good time though.

Give it a shot. Of course all the different hobbies need $$ which sucks. Snowmilizer will point you in the right direction if you want to try. Popular Post Cascadia_Wx
Took a jaunt up to Government Camp yesterday afternoon to see some pass level snowfall. Chilly and windy up there with snow squalls and a temp around 30. Heading up, the snow started just past Laurel Hill. Heading down, the snow level had dropped about 1,500’ lower than where it was earlier, and there was a rain/snow mix even down in Welches. Accumulated a quick 2-4 inches of snow in the couple hours we were up there. I’m sure they did pretty well overnight.
