Shipping fuel sources were cleaned in 2020 to reduce aerosol emissions. This caused a flash warming event where GHG emissions were allowed to fully realize their warming potential. It's affected all the world's Oceans, though the Atlantic in particular, since that's where the biggest reduction in aerosols was located. This is an open and shut case that was solved like last year.

I am not fan of the cold temps and all day rain at time of year... but if its going to happen then I am really hoping we run up the rain totals and get some benefit.
