my God, this forum has devolved into the worst of the worst. It's always emotional and reactionary in here, but it seems that the rational and seasoned members have pulled back to make way for the kids.
I'm going to step back for the day too. It's just too much uninformed nonsense.
I am excited for a lot of you guys, because it seems like this is your first time tracking a PNW winter storm. I remember my first time.
Ended up with a 63/47 day so far here. Quite a pleasant day. Partly cloudy and breezy. Cool considering how sunny it was at times. Mostly sunny and 62 currently with a nice breeze from the NW.
DPs are in the 30s, so tonight could get pretty chilly for this late in the season for places that see good clearing. Cover your sensitive plants @Port Angeles Foothiller
It's certainly looking warmer the next few days with upper 80s and some humidity pushing heat indices into the lower 90s for a few days.
The next severe chance here is technically Sunday night, but more probably on Tuesday. A cold front will provide lift beneath an anomalous upper level jet. We will have massive CAPE and great wind shear, so certainly plenty of potential.
