my God, this forum has devolved into the worst of the worst. It's always emotional and reactionary in here, but it seems that the rational and seasoned members have pulled back to make way for the kids.
I'm going to step back for the day too. It's just too much uninformed nonsense.
I am excited for a lot of you guys, because it seems like this is your first time tracking a PNW winter storm. I remember my first time.
This Afternoon
Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 2pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 65. Breezy, with a north northeast wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
Kinda looked like it was a little smokey down here when I was kayaking out on Bellingham Bay. It Looking off to the north there was a low level brown haze that I couldn't quite figure it out. I wonder if anything was seeping down the Frasier canyon.
EPS is not showing a wetter pattern later in the month... the 00Z run showed what looks like a fairly dry pattern. We need troughing offshore at this time of year for a wet pattern. Like early June 2022.
