my God, this forum has devolved into the worst of the worst. It's always emotional and reactionary in here, but it seems that the rational and seasoned members have pulled back to make way for the kids.
I'm going to step back for the day too. It's just too much uninformed nonsense.
I am excited for a lot of you guys, because it seems like this is your first time tracking a PNW winter storm. I remember my first time.
Well the political side of the forum is now closed (@iFred don't ban me for acknowledging it ever existed) @Sunriver Snow Zone, @SilverFallsAndrew, @Tenochtitlan, @TT-SEA, @SnarkyGoblin, @Front Ranger, @GHweatherChris, @Anti Marine Layer, and a few others thst I'm not going to bother naming because I'm tired of typing out names, will all be much more active on the weather side. Yay!
I would take my chances with that general pattern any day. The snow situation was disappointing up here, but it was cold. We had a decent snow in Feb, but it wasn't nearly as cold by then. I guess one of the good things about living further north is when we miss the snow, because it goes south it still gets cold. Down your way if the snow misses north it's often a lot warmer.
