That's not nice! I know people here are over-reactive but don't call us snowflakes!

I called in already even though I’m retired.  Fun little surprise while I was cleaning out my car in the sun

Im not coming in because of the snow and also I don’t work there anymore.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

It’s gotten windy here. Fueling that c-zone some of you are enjoying.

It's been raw and blustery all day here. Dry, though. Only a few clouds around the horizon and over the mountains.

40.3˚F, but feels colder than that given the wind and how torchy it has generally been this month.

Feels much like late winter did in northern New Mexico when a snowstorm was on its way.

Best snow of entire winter falling. A bit sad it won’t last.

The one in January actually turned the ground white and accumulated a little bit, but it was very light stuff.  At least the ice is broken now.  Maybe we can get something more later in the week.

Nice 18z eps improvement.  Bottom is new one. Got a brief graupel shower today. Hoping for more chances. Stevens pass was nice, didn’t get as much snow as expected.

The changes on the 18z EPS are pretty eye popping on both the mean and control.  Looks like we get a high latitude tap going.  That is what the Seattle area needs to really do well with snow in most cases.

BTW...the ECMWF is saying we get a hard frost tonight.  Wet roads will probably get icy.

Looks like best shot for PDX and south is Sat morning with dead or slightly offshore gradients?

Dead gradients or weak offshore are often the best from what I've seen.
