snow_wizard
At least the GFS keeps finding way to keep giving us the mini cold snaps into early January. This runs shows sub 522 thicknesses over SEA on about Jan 6. Most runs are showing a snow threat in that time frame. In the shorter term the Sunday night through Tuesday time frame looks pretty nippy. 1 Quote Death To Warm Anomalies! It took me an hour to drive 4 blocks on my way home from work. Luckily I was able to park the car in a lot and take the 7 mile walk home. A few days later I went to pick up the car and there were abandoned cars littered alongside the road. I was very thankful I had the sense to park before it got THAT bad. I have many memories of truly wintry scenes from that event. It was literally like another world in a lot of ways. 1 Quote Death To Warm Anomalies! It’s amazing my perspective at that age once we got through December 1990. Even out at the coast we had multiple-day stretches of highs in the 20’s in 1983, 1985, 1989 and 1990.
