GFS shows close to a foot of snow here over the next week.  Let’s just say I have my doubts.

The 0z ECMWF and 0z NAM show some snow in the trailing wrap-around bands as the low passes. Probably the best hope for any accumulation in this area. Your elevation is going to help in the pattern.

It doesn't add up to much but the Euro does show at least snow in the air on Monday morning, Tuesday night, and Thursday morning/evening.

Opportunities are all we can ask for at this point.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

33.6F here, sure does feel wintery with the offshore flow. Hopefully we get to watch some flakes fall Sunday and hope for a surprise with that midweek system.

With the temps we are going to have I wouldn't call them "flakes", they will be more like white bird droppings.

4th shade of blue for here, but ... not in the believable range unfortunately.

I think we have the highest snow load building codes in the nation because of our wet snow and rain on snow loads. But in 2016-2017 we still had tons of roof collapses.

Yeah not just how much snow, but how wet the snow is.  Wonder if those roof collapses were older roofs, or maybe a 100 year storm.

00Z ECMWF actually shows quite a bit of snow later next week... mostly with temps in the mid to upper 30s though.

I’m liking our chances here next weekend.

It was around this time in 2018 and 2019 most people had lost hope and given up on winter. Things can turn around. If there’s nothing on the models by this time next month...then this winters done for. Even with a really good February...this will go down as one of the warmest winters on record sadly. This La Niña so far has been a let down besides the fact we’ve gotten plenty of rain and mountain snow.
