Lightning offshore as those waves of precip move in-- quite a bit of enhancement as they head inland.

Yep, that's not a perk of satellite TV.

The one downside to a heavy snowfall situation is losing my Satellite tv and internet and basically having no cell service.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

The other thing that seals the deal is that me and my next door neighbor (not the dickhead one) split it. We run a 100' weather resistant coax from my house to his and we split the bill. Well, not exactly. We share our garbage can and internet too. Lol.

Rain with rising temperatures overnight. That's strange.

Have you ever experienced an overrunning snow event where it's below freezing at 4PM with snow and by midnight it's in the mid-40s with pouring rain and a slushy mess? Same concept! It's called a warm front. 🤮

That is how our supposed January 1950 redux quickly ended a decade ago!

Bunch of my relatives in MN also got it for free this year.   But if you don't have the package that includes ESPN they probably assume you don't care about sports.  😀

2022 is the last season unless the NFL for some reason avoids a top streaming platform to get it.  Not sure if they mean this season which is 21/22 or the 22/23 season.

Worth it. Every time. I actually look forward to the very rare times I have to figure out a way to clean off the dish after a snowfall. Ice is another story.

That time of year again where I just look around for subscription services. I never tried Pivotal before so thought I'd give it a shot, just a 7-day trial to see if I like and whether or not I want to continue.

5 days totals. It's a bit wet.

Already going to be above average halfway through the month here.

The best part about pivotal is the local view for the GFS, Euro, NAM and UKMET.

It doesn't have all the bells and whistles like weatherbell and weathermodels, but it's not bad for the price

Warm fronts don't come to California very much and if they do, they are probably diminished by the ocean.

The landslides threats are actually quite real... we've pretty much been hammered persistently with rain and wind since 3rd week of October.  Next few days only going to make things worse.

Seems like things dry out slightly about this time next week on the euro and the gfs in western WA…but we will see if that actually happens or not.
