This whole D**n thing continues to make no sense. Now it's 37 here and absolutely dumping snow.

I thought the pouring rain dried up but it turned into an absolute dumping of snow

That precip coming around the Olympics looks heavy.  About 1 1/2 inches in the last 30 minutes.  Just relentless.

Just from a cursory glance at the radar on KOMO it appears the heavier precip has led to more areas getting snow than rain in the central sound.

6 miles south of seabeck. The hills around seabeck usually get a little more than me. If I have 7 they have 9 I'd bet

Yea, after I cut my tree at Huberts I couldn't get out of there fast enough. It was beautiful but getting kinda dangerous.

39 here and solidly in the rain department.  It's just crazy that it is puking snow 20 minutes to my north, about 30-40 minutes to my SOUTH, and lots of other places to my south...but just friggin rain here.

WRF GFS has shifted the low farther north for the Wed/Thurs setup.  A glimmer of hope for areas that got skunked today.

I border the football field.  Before PJH became PMS, I used to watch football games from my deck in the fall.  No football there anymore,

Alaska airlines confirmed the reason why the delays at Seatac today was due to airlines and port of Seattle failure to de-ice planes and runways. Really? That’s all it took? Sheesh.

Ahhhh yes, generally a decent area for snow when it's marginal. Mine usually isn't. We always get lumped in the Everett forecast here but either over or under perform, drastically. Other times we get lumped in with the hood canal forecast, which we can never ever achieve.

Just measured 2 inches.  Wife yelled at me to come back in the house because I didn't have a shirt on.

On a sidenote, this might be the best snowball making snow I've ever touched.  It would be easy to make an igloo.
