I’ve heard the Texas Hill Country is delightful. When I was in college I went to some kind of “retreat” in the Tyler area of east Texas and it was nice, very forested, a lot of tall pine trees.
Yes they have seasons and get hot and humid. Doesn’t take away from the fact that we enjoyed our visit and it was nicer than expected. Never said I’d move there.
