lol, in my opinion we don’t do too bad down here in terms of snowfall compared to areas even further south we’ve already had an inch down here in November (a minuscule amount, but still better than nothing) and we’ve had decent snow events down here excluding winter 19-20.

How did your area do during the January 2021 event?

What are temps? Seems like a lot of people are already getting too warm which doesn't bode well. Seems like the warm EURO runs are more on track than they were earlier today.

So by tomorrow... either the GFS or ECMWF is going to be looking really silly.    They could not be more different for something that is happening right now.

Seems to be the same outcome up here regardless of the track, but substantially different down there. Hope you all can get a good blast of snow out of this as the low moves inland.

Need Jaya or someone to analyze the sat imagery right about now

Here's what it looks like. No obvious low center to my eye, but Jaya was talking about "development" south of a boundary. If I'm reading the imagery right, the main area of development is heading towards the south of the Olympics as the GFS and RGEM show.

Early tomorrow morning the 00Z GFS, 00Z GEM, 00Z ICON, and 18Z ECMWF all have the low in the exact same spot... around LaPush on the NW WA coast.    The difference seem to be how surface conditions are handled.
