SEA also hit 59 twice in January, so their max YTD remains warmer.

I noticed that too. They are still looking at an impressive run of sub-60 though. Last 60 or higher day there was October 20th.

Going farther north, BLI hit 60 a couple times in late December/early January though. But they are a notorious spot to mix out and maximize warmth during winter mild spells with warm SSE wind episodes.

Let the fun begin! Down to 33 and all snow now

Wind has completely died here... that means its in the process of turning offshore and the cold air damming begins over there.   Also also means 925mb temps are slowly warming on this side of the Sound.

This windstorm in KY. 😬 Might reach @Timmy Supercell in a few hours. Doesn’t look convective.

Those t'storms were not very organized today, we ended up with no thunder in Ashland.

Winds are kicking up a bit.. and it's eerily warm out. Think I heard a branch land somewhere on the street.

Currently 34 and just a light mix but there is some heavy duty stuff on the radar coming so that should drop the snow level back down l.

Are you heading over to your E. Wa place sometime soon?

Good or bad depending on your viewpoint.  Nonetheless, here we go.

Definitely looking forward to the longer days. I really do enjoy summer around here when it’s sunny and 75-80 degrees out and it stays bright until after 9pm. Though I don’t mind the occasional heat wave that brings 85-90 degree temps which is nice if I want to go out to the river and get in the water. The summers around here are really nice when they aren’t a complete torch. Even cool partly cloudy 65/45 days are welcome every now and then but I feel like those are becoming harder to pull off.
