Popular Post Eugene-5SW
It was a Weather Weenie Wonderful day coming up Hwy 395 on the eastern side of the Sierra today. At 4,000 ft. in Bishop it was 77º. At 8,000 ft. at Conway Summit it was 37º. How's that for a lapse rate? At the summit was some of the craziest weather I've ever been in. It was pouring rain as hard as I've ever seen in my life. And hailing. And snowing. And thundering. I was much too busy driving to get any photos, but I did take this one at Grant Lake that shows some of the brooding skies. Currently in Reno and it's pouring here now too. Fun stuff.

NWbyNW
I got nothing to match the beautiful photos posted today. It was cloudy this morning and only hit 58F until the clouds burned off and it warmed up to 65F here in Everett. Now it is a beautiful evening, blue skies, and now the sunset is coming. We're at almost 9pm and the sun hasn't even set yet! My gosh.

TT-SEA
Ironically my son told his mother the same thing yesterday when she was bragging him up. He told her a job is not the measure of a person. He has had 17 surgeries in his life to deal with something he was born with and he might be the most humble and altruistic person I have ever met. He far outshines his parents. But as Andrew said... he is the worst that society has to offer and we should be "embarrassed" presumably because he loves water sports. 4 1 Quote **REPORTED CONDITIONS AND ANOMALIES ARE NOT MEANT TO IMPLY ANYTHING ON A REGIONAL LEVEL UNLESS SPECIFICALLY STATED**
