Frontal Snowsquall
Looking at the Oregon department of agriculture forecast. Their current analog years are 1959, 1970, 2005. They are calling for a warm/slightly above average July, slightly below average August, and well below average September.I wouldn't mind that progression. I've always preferred an early start to Autumn. By early to mid September, I'm ready for the cold season.

TacomaWaWx
Sounds unlikely, but would be great. Who cares what the weather is like on the 4th, all events are canceled anyway. That doesn’t mean tons of people won’t be doing their own shows and going to the reservations to buy their own. This holiday has already been tainted and partially ruined as it is would suck for it to be raining and then nobody can even light off their own. Hopefully if it rains it’s on the 5th instead. TT-SEA
Up to 67 here under mostly sunny skies after a low of 54. Looking like it's shaping up to be beautiful day. Hopefully going to get the chance to soak it up, seeing as the 12z GFS now shows some showers and clouds hanging around midweek next week after a cool and showery weekend. Sure hope this default PNW-trough pattern re-surfaces in the winter when we want it most. The 12Z GFS is definitely continuing the trend towards colder and wetter for next week. It still shows the pattern quieting down by Friday for a nice weekend... but I doubt that will happen given the recent trends and the fact that the ECMWF and EPS don't show that happening.
