TT-SEA
All these people exploring the wasteland that is central and eastern WA. Why anyone would ever go exploring east of the Cascades is beyond me. I have also heard stories of people going over to the wasteland of eastern OR. Chelan is a particularly terrible area... Frontal Snowsquall
I spent last weekend at Lake Billy Chinook. It was gorgeous. I talked to some locals and they say the reservoir levels only vary by 6 inches per year which is crazy for a reservoir that large. No one was wearing a mask at the marina store. No one. Except me. I saw Neowise the other day from the middle of town with plenty of light pollution. It was pretty underwhelming. It was nearly impossible to see with the naked eye, but easy with binoculars. Here's a couple of pics. I didn't take many. I'm a bit of a geology geek.I love Lake Billy Chinook. Great kokanee fishing there.
