Interesting as 1939-1940 is almost a perfect match for precip and snowfall to this winter so far in Tahoe. Jan - March 1940 got really wet and snowy which would be nice to repeat

I keep forgetting that Seattle has an NHL team after Portland once again missed out on any significant major sports team besides the Blosers. They're the 23rd largest media market and they only have one major sports team. What a joke.

That plus whatever channel they're on refuses to negotiate with Dish Network.

Maybe 2/3 of GEFS members have some degree of cold. The Euro only has a few cold members but the ones that are cold are very cold.

48.8 here with raging east winds continuing.

The Gorge/Gap easterly gradients continue to hold strong and not weakening as models had suggested. In fact, PDX-DLS is 2.4mb stronger than forecast(GFS). That's not a surprise though. The east wind is supposed to back off by early evening.
