32 here! Light snow now!

I can now report that there are some light flurries here as well.  Kind of weird though, there are broken clouds overhead.  Must be wringing every bit of moisture out of them.

OMG if that really happens.  I would much rather be dry than have that.  MUCH RATHER.

Couple miles north of you. Should get heavier as the moisture moves south.

Snow seemed to have stopped here for now. Sure hope it picks up a bit again.

Radar is juicing up nicely.  Should be very soon.

It was flurrying under blue skies IMBY earlier this afternoon.

It's called clown range for a reason.

Honestly, that looks pretty accurate with what some local meteorologists said: "The more snow you get, depends on how close you are to the gorge, the east winds."

Weather! Atmospheric conditions

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!

Really interesting when you look around the Seattle area... from 520 northward it looks like its pretty dry.    The radar shows heavy precip over Ballard where my son lives but he said its just a few flakes there.   But south of I-90 it looks much wetter.   Also looks like its snowing West Seattle.

Been checking the highway cams and Bainbridge Island is capitalizing on it pretty nicely. Would be quite pleased now if I still lived there.

My wife had to go Downtown Vancouver for an appointment. She was on the 1pm ferry thinking she’d be there at 330.  She just arrived 4 hrs late.

Seems a little ahead of schedule. It’s usually no more than an 8-10 hour trek from here once it hits the lower basin.

Hard to say since I think it’s super low level. Yakima still has strong downslope winds but a dew point of 12.

My preferences can beat up your preferences’ dad.

Really quirky where its snowing and where its not under those bands on the radar.   The 520 bridge looks like its right in the middle of the c-zone but the road is dry.   It looks lighter on radar over West Seattle but snowing good there.

D**n these meso models are all over the place just goes to show how hard it would be to be an accurate forecaster. GRAF has 1" of precip good for....5.3" of snow with temps in the teens.

Sleetapolooza.

Don't love the trend on all models for a sharper mid level warm layer around midday Saturday. Hope is that they're eroding the cold aloft a little too aggressively. Would be great to not waste too much precious QPF on those lame little ice balls.
