So our local utility Avista sent out a email and a story on the local news that they have a Natural Gas supply issues and asking everyone to "turn down their thermostats and limit use of hot water for 24 hours"

Dropped from 41F to 39F in Springfield. I don't think we're gonna get there by midnight tho. Dammit!

What was your coldest low in this one?

Meat of the airmass will miss here, but I think we could still beat you on low temps if we can decouple one of these nights.

Most of the models showed this happening with temperatures staying pretty constant throughout the night. Still hoping I get to see single digits, but with the temperature warmer than it was 4 hours ago I'm not optimistic.

The moment winds died down the temperature has been dropping quickly. If this keeps up single digits are very possible here

Portland, Portland International Airport (weather.gov)

To see data for a different location, just change the KPDX in the URL to a different site such as KHIO for Hillsboro airport.

If PDX doesn't make it to 19 before midnight I am going to have an absolute meltdown. Like kicking, screaming, rolling around on the floor banging my fists on the ground, sobbing so hard I can't breathe level of meltdown.

Yeah temps are holding steady around 15-17. I just hope we tie the 14 this century.
