The precip rates and offshore flow will be key. Last year it snowed here with plus 2c 925 and plus 1 850 with strong offshore flow. Maybe model was wrong or the evaporative cooling did it. Looks like the 925s suck on the ECMWF. It does have a warm bias in these things sometimes though. Quote Death To Warm Anomalies! Ken in Wood Village
East winds have really picked up since I woke up. Temperature was 34.4° when I woke up but has been falling since the East winds picked up. I'm glad I didn't try to get to work because I wouldn't be able to get back home because everything would be all iced over. I did try to walk to the main street but couldn't get there because it's to D**n slick. As you can see from these pictures, it's completely iced over 8

Popular Post Chewbacca Defense
Low of 26 overnight with outflow winds continuing overnight. Shoveled 2 driveways last night, mine and my 90 year old neighbor’s driveway. My driveway is north facing, so it piled up a bit more snow than what we actually got. The Kinda sucks to live in a house with such a small driveway and in an area that does not get enough snow to justify owning a snow blower. I’ll always love snow, but definitely hitting an age where I hate shoveling it! I’ll be curious to see what the next act in this play brings. A lot of complaints yesterday about the plows not being out, I don’t know if it’s people who are new to the area complaining or if the plows just weren’t out. Pretty impressed for my first time driving in the snow in a Subaru, but I’ll definitely need to swap out the bare bones all season highway tires that are currently on the car. 20 Quote Britton Rd Bellingham Weather Station: https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/KWABELLI103?cm_ven=localwx_pwsdash
