I pay close attention to my forest behind my house which is about 1300 acres of state land and over the last ten years the trees that require more moisture, cedar, hemlock and so on have taken a major beating. It isn't a bug or desese it is water deprivation. Only the ones that are in a low area, ditch or natural wet area are thriving.
