Popular Post Sunriver Snow Zone
Amazing weather today, I think it was nature's gift to me for my 59th bday. Got pretty good conditions to climb Mount Hood, although the winds at the summit were around 40mph, forecast was calling for winds in the 20s which unfortunately did not verify. Here's a photo dump from our climb, sadly my camera fogged up little bit, so all of the photos are slightly blurry. 22 2 1 Quote Coldest temp this winter: -7 Jan 13th Snow depth at Mount Bachelor (last updated April 29th) 88" Snow depth at my home (updated April 29th) late season 1"! 23-24 seasonal snowfall at home (updated April 29th) 92"!! We had Certa Pro do some interior painting a couple years ago and they did a decent job. I went with them because they had a guy who was able to fix some water damage for time and materials and everyone else I talked to said I would have to find someone to do that work. I got a bid from Certa Pro for my exterior but ended up going with “a guy with a truck” because he was less expensive and came recommended from someone I trust. He and his team did a fantastic job- pressure wash, scrape, caulk, primer, two coats of paint. House looks great. I can DM you his contact info if you’re interested. Not sure he will go to Everett but only one way to find out. 2

We were able to pick our own color but it had to go to the board for approval. I definitely have a serious love/hate thing for HOA’s. Some are pretty ridiculous. As far as cost, it was subbed by the builder so I have no clue. Last time I painted a house was summer 2009, which I did myself and it cost me about a thousand bucks when all was said and done. It was a ridiculous amount of work and if I charged myself labor it would have probably cost me about 10k. 1 1 1 Quote My preferences can beat up your preferences’ dad. My brother’s costs him $300 a month but they have a pool, clubhouse, landscaping and beer coozies. This’ll be our first time with one in about 14 years and the only one we were a part of was run very poorly. Not particularly looking forward to it, but no one holds a gun to someone’s head. Rangers staff it to avoid vandalism. It frequently has summer temps inthe 70s or 80s but temps drop rapidly at night. It has over 300 days of freezing temps and is often the coldest daily low in CA. I’m not making an argument for HOAs, just offering an opinion on why people value them. I know I offered an extreme scenario but I was having some fun with a situation one of our posters described a couple days ago. I will say that someone who thinks it’s ok to park ten cars in front of your house will not likely be swayed by a polite and honest conversation.
