Liking the trends for Sunday night. I feel like someone might actually score out of that if the trends continue to become colder!

lol, I got home from T-giving supply shopping and dinner about 70 min ago and have had almost 2" of snow in that time period after rain all evening

That was one of the wildest storms I’ve ever experienced. I was driving home from Bellingham to Bainbridge for Thanksgiving and it snowed the entire drive. Flash freeze hit when we got to the U-District and it took us 3 hours to get from there to the ferry downtown like 3 miles away. Got to Bainbridge and it was in the low 20’s with blowing snow and 50-60 mph North winds. Power was out and tons of trees were down on all the roads. I’ll never forget it.

hey, i was driving TO Bellingham from Hillsboro! we probably passed each other. I think i hit the snow just north of Seattle and took me about 3 hours of white knuckling it in a 96 Camry to get to the Haggen at the bottom of the hill below WWU.

That was a great one.  One of the few times I've seen it snow with temps in the low 20s at my current location.  Certainly a Dec 1990 or slightly watered down Feb 1989 type event.

It was dumping in the low 20s here this past December wasnt it. Or was that Feb 21

The ECMWF is picture perfect for how the trough digs down from BC.  Just the right placement for maximum impact of whatever cold air is available.

This run is way colder than the 12z.  Over extreme NC WA the 850s are -13 on this run vs -7 on the 12z on Sunday night.
