Temp continues to drop in North Bend... it was 36 at 5 a.m. and now down to 33.3 there.    

Its not snowing at all on Tiger Summit at 1,300 feet to the west of here.    But its snowing in North Bend at 440 feet just 6 miles to the east.

Friday night will just be a wait and see, could be pockets of snow here and there.  Very borderline even for here but i never discount snow when offshore flow is in play. Precipitation rates are going to be very important.

Was shocked to wake up to snow. Now intrigued with this next system as winds stay easterly for a while.

34 and raining this morning. Definitely a little colder overnight than expected with the easterly flow hanging on. Ended up with a 40/36 day yesterday.

Yesterday I engaged in a ritual I like to call "Optimistic Shopping", where I stock up on particular groceries and supplies *just in case* snow arrives, and thereby invite the snow to appear within a few days.
