Well maybe if you count some of the dust that was blowing off the ground in the morning. The micro flakes that fell all came after dark. I did see a few minutes of hail if that counts.

I would hope you've at least been able to enjoy some cold temps?

567dm line visits Anchorage. That’s good, not decent.

The fact we scored right as the block was first forming is huge. Usually we wait around for the block to setup in the right place and it is unstable by the time we start to get the goods so it only lasts a few days.

Thing is, this round didn’t really have any traditional blocking. It was kinda piecemealed together with some odd assistance from the persistent split flow pattern.

My preferences can beat up your preferences’ dad.

Euro is significantly colder at hour 96 than the GFS. Drops the low South more quickly so there is way less Southerly intrusion. Don't have precip maps though so no idea how this effects snow totals. Looks better for the Sound though.

Still not letting up here. Looks like the band is shifting a bit west with more development to the east.

Absolutely got shafted. Max accumulations reported have been 2 inches in the Triangle Mountain area of Colwood (west of downtown). There apparently was more snow up in the Duncan area, but down here it was a bust.

I live on triangle mountain....got maybe a quarter of an inch

Need this bad boy to shift just a few more miles north.

Elevation 580’ Location a few miles east of I-5 on the Snohomish Co side of the Snohomish/Skagit border. I love snow/cold AND sun/warmth!
