jcmcgaffey
No he doesn’t. He hates on snow and cold when it’s in the forecast too. He seems to like mild ridging in the winter better than anything else. I could see that I guess. It’s been a while since I have been following him. I thought back in February he overstated the amount of snow and cold several times because he was worked up about he event itself verses the NWS which continually understated the events. I will say, it looks really lovely and green out here for late July, with decent snow on the peaks still, and no smoke issues. Amazing the positive impact simply getting a non-scorching summer can have.

The first half of this month was really wet which resulted in the greenest that I've seen in the 3 summers that I've been here. Of course I've also heard a lot of people complaining that they want summer weather though and not spring but I think its been lovely! VancouverIslandSouth
I was expecting some sort of cooldown last night like we typically get with a marine push, not so much with this airmass. Had a low of 60F but it quickly bounced back over 70F this morning. Last night it was hovering around 70F with strong SW winds, currently 73F with gusty SW winds. Can't remember the last time we had sustained onshore winds for this long without a significant cooldown.
