Why would it make a difference if they lost? Just a game. That's it nothing more nothing less.

Ohhhh... you miss so much in the sports thread.   I have learned that the Ducks are life to many in Oregon.

Jim gonna Jim, but by all accounts he wasn't sulking whatsoever when he was on earlier. He seemed tickled pink (pepto) like he always does before a big event.

Jim is definitely not sulking... he seems stoked and for good reason.

Was going to say the same. If anything Jim’s been encouraging people to be optimistic despite what the models show/may happen.

Basically how I feel as well, but then again I am not a sports fan.

At least there is a sports banter thread to direct it all to.

It's called clown range for a reason.

It's true. If you can believe it, my wife is an even bigger Oregon fan than I am. When she was pregnant with our daughter we went to Autzen Stadium and she talked someone into letting us on the field to do a maternity photo shoot (It was March/April 2017 so not during the season). She was a season ticket holder for 17 years.

No way could we have a Huskies loss and a rug pull in the same week.

I think at least for part of the region there will see a significant event. I said before, if the Huskies win it would cement this winter with regional dud status as their last undefeated season was 1991-92.

Hoping this Euro run can look similar to the 18z control possibly a little farther north.

Looks like around the Warm Beach area has lost power already.

Blocking ridge is not as amplified on Wednesday evening... likely will support northward shift with weekend snow.

I reward Husky hate, and I’m just tickled pink knowing that much like our winters, they’re doomed to mediocrity playing in a far flung moneyed conference and unjustified hype preseason hype that will only eat through that program.

Anyway, it’s starting to get windy in my part of Everett and I think the door is still open to some decent swings in the forecast until the low passes.
