So the euro still has it as a non event Seattle northward since the low is south of Seattle?

No, it has 40mph+ gusts Mt. Vernon southward. A few 50's in Seattle proper.

12z Euro coming in quite a bit stronger and further north so far than the 06z.

NOTE: While this track may be more ideal for Puget Sound windstorm, it is in no way meant as a slight against the lower chance of windstorm for Western OR. Please keep this in mind while viewing the below images...

This Olympic's wind shadow sucks. Unless the track takes the low near the strait or south of Ocean Shores, we in Everett spend most of the event shadowed.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see this end up a bit north of where it’s projected at the moment. Slight shift north could mean northern WA takes a big hit as well. I think it’ll end up somewhere between Ocean shores and central Vancouver island...so I still think there’s a pretty good chance for strong winds up north too.

Much more of a developing high latitude blocking signal at the end of the Euro. I like where it's going...

But I'll leave the extrapolation to Dewey.

All of my renderings thus far reflect a weakening jet in a somewhat progressive pattern.😟

I think I’m gonna draw an outlier now though.😍😍😍

Quick rundown of the 12z suit of models today. All show a strong storm but significant differences in track and strength remain. The NAM is the furthest South with the Euro next and the GFS, ICON, and GEM further North.

Very strong signal for high latitude blocking at the end of run on the 12z EPS. Something is a brewing for late this month.

NAM just flipped off every met in the PNW w/ that 18z lol. 32k resolution isn't a good look for that model.

Actually, come to think of it, nothing is...

Nice to see 10" on the ground at Hoodoo right now. With any luck even some of the lower ski areas can get open by Thanksgiving.
