Timmy
46 degrees here in Nw Norway today at the 63rd parallel. Makes me feel better about living on a west coast and that dang south wind killing the snow dreams. Happens up here even! Saw the sun for the first time today! there is still about a foot of snow on the ground, the roads are still messy in spots on backroads. The sun doesn’t touch them so snow and ice stick around much longer on them. 4

MR.SNOWMIZER
NWS says a no go and no snow accumulation late tonight but the forecast for here right now is for rain and wind and it's dead calm with light snow falling. Couple things, the south or se wind isn't exactly warm especially if your not upstream from a water trajectory and this storm coming in isn't warm and should have some very cold air aloft to work with when the front is stalled over the area. I think many places with transition to snow tonight. And the ground is very cold so it will stick no problem. 2 Quote We come from the land of the ice and snow. Wind will kill snow faster than rain, pretty crazy to see. One time we went to lake Wenatchee to snowmobile and when we got there it was 30 degrees with 14 inches of snow.
