Yeah, I got into HVAC work. It’s harder but pays better. Fred meyers isn’t really where you want to have a career from personal experience.

After the snowiest Dec on record, Jan is coming in as one of the worst ever recorded.

The ridges the last 10 years have been like a light switch. Either on or off with no semblance of normal anymore. Looks like we will have to wait till at least the second half of Feb for any kind of precip which is pretty incredible.

"

It looks like the Reno Airport will end up with
0.00 inches for the month (driest on record),

Check out the range on this WSW. Going to be a huge gradient between snow, sleet, and ZR. South and east of Tulsa will probably be mostly sleet and ZR.

...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH
THURSDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation possible. Precipitation starts
off as freezing rain, then transitions to sleet and eventually
snow as the event progresses. Ice accumulations of one tenth to
one half of an inch possible. Total snow and sleet accumulations
of 1 to 10 inches possible.

* WHERE...Portions of east central, northeast and southeast
  Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas.

* WHEN...From late Tuesday night through Thursday evening.

How common is 10 inches of snow in OK? Are they set up for snow with plows/sanding/salting? Regardless, that mix sounds ugly!

Phil may be missing again. Said he was going to post those photos and videos while he was getting new tires installed today. It’s getting late out in the Eastern time zone.

Hoping Phil is okay, and not sure what the joke is behind it. I remember seeing a video he posted with light snow and gusty winds, then the flat tire.

🤷‍♂️

Compressing the 10+ hours of footage takes a lot of time. Got that done last night in the hotel but needed stronger WiFi to upload it, which I now have.

What was the final snow total in the area you were at? Or did it all blow away? Must have been some big drifts somewhere.

Yup. Love that show! Really sad it's over but I'm just starting book 5 and I'm excited to see how it ends after book 6 (where the show stopped). Still holding out hope they finish the final books in a movie or something.

I think @gusky had started it a little bit ago. Season 1 takes a bit to get going but once it gets cranking it doesn't let up until the crescendo of season 3. Probably some of the best, most realistic sci-fi I've watched.

I'm a couple episodes in at the moment, don't watch a ton of TV shows. It's really good so far though!

Subfreezing highs for the 16th pretty much everywhere. Also several inches of snow for all of the Willamette Valley. Hard not to like that.

... it can't snow at 47F, right? I know it shouldn't be able to, but some of these drops look remarkably like snow.

Still kinda doubt it was snow, but I guess it's possible. Definitely confused me for a second.
