SilverFallsAndrew
Dp down to 14 at PDX as drier air slowly bleeds in. Temp is 31 at Sea Tac, pretty meh, but good chance they see a low late this evening. Another potential silver lining, is with this colder airmass the clouds could keep things a little cooler despite the lows being about 3-5 degrees warmer than expected in the lowlands. It's been interesting to see my son's progression about his next steps after graduation.....at first he wanted to leave, but then he decided he was going to stay. He has a great job at a restaurant in town, and a great side gig for a company that sets up/tears down for concerts in Montana (he did Zack Brown at the Yellowstone Club this past weekend). He wants to get on the rigging crew doing all of the overhead work. But then when we talked to him the other day, he said he wanted be moved out graduation weekend, to the point that I would not be surprised if he is pulling a suitcase or handtruck loaded with boxes across the stage as he accepts his diploma LOL! I'm thinking this latest round of storms might be a factor in that decision. 1 Quote Britton Rd Bellingham Weather Station: https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/KWABELLI103?cm_ven=localwx_pwsdash

Skagit Weather
I wasn't here yesterday morning, but the neighbors measured about 1.5" of snow. Yesterday that all melted into 0.3" of rain equivalent so that when I got home just after midnight there wasn't a speck of snow left. Fortunately it looks like there was light snow for most of the night so I picked up 0.75" and everything is white again. Very light snow and 27F currently. I was out on the Kitsap Peninsula and Bainbridge Island yesterday and had some light snow showers on and off during the day. Then when I was driving through Seattle late last night I encountered just over 1/2" of snow in the north end. 1 Quote Home Wx Station Stats (Since January 2008): Max Temp: 96.3F (2009) Min Temp: 2.0F (2008) Max Wind Gust: 45 mph (2018, 2021) Wettest Day: 2.34 (11/4/22) Avg Yearly Precip: 37" 10yr Avg Snow: 8.0" Snowfall Totals '08-09: 30" | '09-10: 0.5" | '10-11: 21" | '11-12: 9.5" | '12-13: 0.2" | '13-14: 6.2" | '14-15: 0.0" | '15-16: 0.25"| '16-17: 8.0" | '17-18: 0.9"| '18-19: 11.5" | '19-20: 11" | '20-21: 10.5" | '21-22: 21.75" | '22-23: 10.0" 2023-24: 7.0" (1/17: 3", 1/18: 1.5", 2/26: 0.5", 3/4: 2.0", Flakes: 1/11, 1/16)
