As soon as I complained, the dust particles turned into real snowflakes outside my window. Nice light snow now.

Roads are pure ice up here. Most schools up here are closed and I can see why after driving to Smokey Point just now.

Right around 1” for us, it had stopped and the skies were starting to clear when I checked around 2am.  Got down to 18 this morning, currently 22.5

Schools here are closed for the week anyways with mid-winter break.    They have really been lucky this year with the timing of snow events... during Christmas break and now during mid-winter break.    Although its not really mid-winter right now.   Spring starts in 5 days.

Long term ensembles still looking really good. EPS is a bit better than GEFS, as the GFS ensembles have a few more much warmer members, and the operational has been a little inconsistent.

Having some extremely light snow flurries. I practically had to will a few flakes out of the clouds myself. A less dedicated snow enthusiast never would have seen them. 29F.

31 here at 8:30am. Going out to the kitsap peninsula will be interesting to see how much less snow fell the further west you go. Here in parkland the was 1/2” deep so a little better than Tacoma 20 miles SSE.

Had about 10 minutes of light snow and now it’s all over. Would have rather had a chance at a low in the upper teens, but oh well! Details just didn’t work out this winter.

I think the farther north and east you were the better. Just 0.3” this morning but much more than I was expecting. Crazy it’s snowed in February every year since 2017 now.

EUG just missed the record low yesterday, but they got it today! Broke the record of 23 which was set in 1913!

Temp creeping up to 28.4, the heaviest snow of the "event" falling now. 

My brother down in Coquille in Coos County hit 21 this morning. They had like 5 straight days in the 70s earlier this month.

I’m out in the key center area on the peninsula…west of gig harbor there’s no snow on the ground.

The reverse jinx works a lot here, esp in terms of snow. It's still the coldest airmass we've seen in over 5 years.

I'm glad we set some records around the region, but didn't break all of them from 2018. Nice to keep that time in our memory.
