I think 0.5-1.5” is doable here…but there could be surprises and snow ends up hitting some places further north as well. You’re in an even better spot than I am tonight.

The snow has started to pick up the pace in its melt. Taking it all in as the long range seems to be not as encouraging to anything big. Hopefully we can get a ridge before 1/15 to get some decent freezing fog days.

I don’t trust a lot of the hi-res models but it’s nice to see any model go in a good direction.

Yeah it's not perfect, but it appears there are a lot of 4-6" pixels near Duvall even if there weren't ones directly over where you live.

I hope it verifies because that looks like some heavy stuff. Would be major disappointment if not for us south sounders.

What ridge if u don’t mind me askin? I use to live by Rogers on 128th. I am seriously debating on visiting ppl I will wait until the 18z comes out

I’ve noticed a lot of the hi-res models started to bring precip into areas in the central sound a bit better. I’m not a fan of a lot of them but it’s a good sign either way.

Working down in Renton today.  Interesting that the future radar shows the snow filling in around the 4:30/5pm time frame.  This has the potential to catch a lot of people off guard (depending on intensity), especially with the number of commuters that may have gone in late this morning due to school delays, waiting for snow to melt, etc.

We’re right at the point of just tracking the satellite imagery and radar now and seeing what happens. Me thinks tonight ends up more interesting than we expect.
