33 degrees and gently drizzling here.  I'm becoming more confident the south is going to see very little. It's only dropped 1 or 2 degrees in the last few hours and it's possible it won't get any cooler than this.

Our best chance may be at the very end when the front drives south. Definitely frustrating here at the moment 34 and snowing but just a hair to warm for it to stick.

Next couple of weeks will kill our cold anomalies, but it should be active and classics pnw winter at least.

My temp sat at 32.4 all evening, but has gone up to 33.3 in the last 45 min. Not a great sign.

29 temp, 29 DP. Very lightly snowing. Got about 2" accumulated on the stool that I accidentally left outside where i sneak out and smoke weed when my kids go to sleep, which is just as official as anyone else's measurements, tbh.

lol it is pretty much the opposite of the WRF map.

Have a hard time believing southerlies punch all the way to marysville. Pretty entrenched up north with arctic air.

Back edge of precip clears Victoria and Bellingham by 9 a.m. and then Everett by noon and Seattle/Tacoma by 1 p.m.

Checking in from downtown Bellingham--snowfall rates are really picking up now. Really enjoying the combination of cold temps, powder snow, and calm winds. This should be one of the snowiest 24-hour periods here in quite a while.

That was obviously a sarcastic response to the Euro's outputs.. I'm actually quite curious to know why it's so aggressive w/ the southerlies punch. Which haven't really been discussed much here. What is the Euro seeing that the other models don't? Precip rates?

snow started 3 ish hours early here, most models didn't have it starting until after 1am.  Hopefully a good sign of overproducing

Just wanted to show how much better the GFS improved on the 00z run. Yes it’s the GFS and yes I’m  using ensembles. Whether I like it or not, I’m forced to root for it

High temps Wednesday... partly to mostly sunny day around Seattle and northward after lingering snow showers move south before dawn.

I gotta take a moment to just admire this 1066mb arctic high pressure over Montana, early Thursday as the warm front approaches from the west. Just an epic gradient there. Huge pressure and thermal gradients on this map, a real battle of the airmasses and we are right in between.
