the life!

Glad you're finally getting into a bit of the action! You've had to endure what we endured in the 5 or 6 Winters before this.

This storm is about as share the wealth for this sub as one can reasonably hope to get.

I was just going to say interesting development to our south east in Lincoln. Might make it up here :)

Yeah the snow has resumed here, even though it's pretty light for now. Looks like some more moderate snow might be trying to push back up towards Omaha.

My Weather Channel iphone app earlier had the earlier round of snow coming to an end at 6pm, which was correct. However now it says that this next round of snow will continue until midnight... hope it's right again!

Cedar Rapids seems to be the unlucky spot so far.  We've been stuck in a dry hole for hours and now the new bands are going around us.  There appears to be moderate to heavy snow passing just northwest.

do you mean a lot of posters are getting snow?? That I agree with. But there are tons of storms that have dropped much more appreciable storms over larger areas.

Geez, there are reports of up to 4.5" in the Des Moines area now.  It might be tough for Cedar Rapids or even Iowa City to finish with that much tomorrow.
